8 Chrome Extensions For Salesforce

8 Salesforce Chrome Extensions To Ease Your Work

Introduction

Salesforce is a great platform for CRM, but it can be even better if you use some of the Salesforce extensions that are available for Chrome. Here’s my list of the 8 best add-ons for improving your Salesforce experience:

  • Boostr

Boostr is an analytics tool that helps you find the right information and share it with the right people. It’s vital to understand your team’s strengths, weaknesses and workflow patterns so you can make sure everyone is on top of their game. This app track clicks, and time spent on each page and makes suggestions based on what’s most important. You can also set up notifications for when someone needs help or when a specific report has been completed.

Help your administrator and designer efficiency on Salesforce.com with Boostr!

Highlights include: – Ability to look while adding things to a change set – Filtering by type while adding to a change set – Showing all things of a given sort on one page while adding to a change set – Adding checkbox to table header in administrator region to check and uncheck all things in that segment – Displaying the programming interface name close to handle names when altering a fieldset – utilizing pascal case for the API Name while making new items and fields – Preventing the placeholder text from filling in the arrangement region sidebar – Display number of chosen fields on-field history following page – Ability to uncheck all page designs as a matter of course while making another field.

  • Apinames

Apinames is a free Chrome extension that allows you to search and find new users, contacts, and leads on the Salesforce platform. It’s great for finding people who work in your industry or specific companies.

For example, if you’re looking for someone who works at Facebook, simply type “Facebook” into the search bar of Apinames (you can also use keywords like “marketing” or “engineering”). The results will show you every person in your Salesforce database who matches this criterion. You can then add them as a follow-up lead right from your browser!

  • Salesforce.com Quick Login

Salesforce.com Quick Login As is Chrome Extension from salesforce.com which will save you time on login.

Have you ever had to log in to Salesforce.com from a computer that doesn’t have the Salesforce.com Desktop Client installed? Maybe you need to log in from your tablet or are stuck at a friend’s place and can’t get to your computer. In any case, this Chrome Extension is an easy way to quickly log in or register manually.

This extension allows you to add Salesforce buttons on your browsers which you can use to access Salesforce quickly within a single click.  You will be able to access all of the most used features within a single browser session.

Salesforce offers many amazing features, but for users with a lot of Salesforce accounts and users with lots of permissions, it can be hard to remember who has access to their accounts and where. This Chrome extension allows users to log in as any contact in their accounts.

It automatically logs you into Salesforce.com when you open your Google Chrome Browser.

  • Salesforce Inspector

Salesforce Inspector is a Chrome extension that makes it easy to inspect, debug and test your Salesforce app.

Inspector allows you to inspect the DOM, CSS, and JavaScript of your Salesforce app.

The Salesforce extensions help you to:

      • Explore the part tree in your application, and review parts and their related DOM components.
      • Distinguish execution bottlenecks by taking a gander at a chart of part creation time.
      • Investigate server communications quicker by observing and adjusting reactions.
      • Test the adaptation to non-critical failure of your application by mimicking mistake conditions or dropped activity reactions.
      • Track the grouping of occasions terminating and dealing with for at least one activity.
  • Salesforce Navigator

Salesforce Navigator allows you to connect to multiple Salesforce orgs and view data from each organization. It’s also the best way for new users, or those who aren’t ready for Lightning yet, to manage their records.

Salesforce Navigator lets you create, modify and delete records in a single interface. You can also view and manage Salesforce permissions for users across an entire organization without switching between tabs.

  • Clearbit for Salesforce Lite

This integration is a big help to Salesforce users who want to incorporate more data into their workflows, but who don’t have the resources or expertise to build out custom integrations. It’s a great option for any user looking for a fast and reliable way to get more insight into their data.

A couple of other things that make this extension special: it gives you access to all of your Clearbit API-based reports (like email lists), and it automatically updates as new data comes in through the API so that you don’t have to worry about doing anything else.

  • Salesforce Gmail Integration

You can also use Salesforce Gmail Integration to search for and create records, create and send emails, and use Salesforce as a contact-and-lead generation tool. The Chrome extension integrates with Gmail’s search bar, so you can perform a search in Gmail and pull up results from your Zoho CRM account directly in your inbox. If a contact’s details are included in that record, it will appear directly below the email subject line. You can then click through to see more information about that individual or company.

The extension also works with all of the features available within Google Contacts: You can add new contacts from within Gmail; update existing contacts by simply clicking on them; add notes; assign them projects (if you have this feature activated); group them into lists, and update their phone numbers or emails automatically when they change.

  • Salesforce Apex Debugger

When you select a Salesforce engineering tool you need to find the most effective and easy to use one. We’ll be revealing the best Salesforce debugging tools that you’ll want to start using right away.

Have you ever had to debug issues with Salesforce Apex? Salesforce tools are great for development, but there’s always a need for additional tools. That’s why we’re going to be talking about the Apex Debugger extension for Chrome.

If you’re into Salesforce development and use the Force.com IDE to write Apex code, then you’ll certainly want to check out Salesforce Apex Debugger Extension for Chrome.  It’s a nifty little plugin that can come in handy when you’re having problems with your code. There are other similar tools available on the chrome web store, some free and paid, but this one is my favourite because it just works well.

Salesforce Apex Debugger is a Chrome extension that lets you debug Apex classes and triggers directly in your browser. There is no need to deploy anything to a test instance anymore.

Based on our experience with a large scale customer I started working on the Apex debugger. It is a Chrome extension that helps to debug Apex classes by displaying a lot of useful debug info in the browser console.
