Ray Mirra’s remarkable story begins in 1958. He is born to Dolores Mirra, his mother and Raymond, his father. Ray’s parents had moved to the United States from Sicily in hopes of living the American dream. a life away from poverty and where they could be financially independent by working hard. In the same year, he also proceeded to obtain a master’s degree in business management. His own uncle’s pharmacy store Sacks Pharmacy-where he had been employed for more than four years. After graduating high school in Blackwood, Ray Mirra Jr refused offers to join Temple and Rutgers University. Instead, he chose to matriculate at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. Therefore, he left pharmacy college in 1977 to start working as a Pharmacy Technician at the Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia with an aim to become a pharmacist.

A few years later, Raymond Mirra Jr., a technician at the Hahnemann Hospital, had the opportunity to work for a different pharmaceutical company. The change was precisely what he needed. Mr Mirra soon realized that his new job was better than the old one. He did not have to work long hours in shady and poorly lit conditions as there were proper equipment like refrigerators and freezers in his new workplace.
