Muslim Prayer Tasbeeh – A Sound Vocalization of Islamic Beliefs
Muslim prayer tasbih, known as the Islamic tasbih, is a short form of the traditional prayer, which is recited by an imam. The phrase used in this type of Muslim religious ceremony is Tala’een, which is also used in wedding ceremonies. The tasbeeh is recited by the imam during the laying of hands with prayer, as it is part of the Namazah, that is recited by every Muslim who is going to marry. There are many schools of thought on how long the tasbeeh should be recited. In fact, this debate has been going on since the early times, when Islam was being established as a religion.
According to the Shafi’i school of thought, the tasbeeh must be recited under the supervision of a religious leader, or a scholar who is knowledgeable enough of the prayer. In fact, scholars say that recitation of the tasbeeh is actually compulsory if one is to be led to the path of Islam. For followers of Islam, the tasbeeh must be recited before entering the prayer hall or after finishing with the prayer. Since it is recited by an imam, it is then called as ‘taabs ul-kaifeen’, which literally means the ‘reciting of the sacred texts.’

According to the Ahmadi school of thought, the tasbeeh must be recited slowly and quietly so as to focus on each word. Furthermore, the tasbeeh must not be repeated due to the strict manner of delivery. The tasbeeh must be performed with the body in a straight position, without swaying or jerking of the limbs.. Lastly. The tasbeeh must be delivered in a slow and deep manner so as to focus on the words.

Folding seats are also preferable because they allow people sitting on them to relax their backs and neck. The recitation of the tasbeeh can be done alone or with a group of people. However, the praying tasbeeh must be recited without interrupting the recitation of other parts of the prayer. An imitating or mirror image of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is considered acceptable in Muslim prayer tasbeeh. The praying tasbeeh must also be performed at a specific time. This is because Muslim religious laws forbid people from fasting on the day of the tasbeeh.
When reciting the tasbeeh, Muslims must enjoin listeners by saying, “Allah is majestic and mighty, so give him peace and blessings.” It is a must to end the tasbeeh by saying, “Allah is majestic and mighty, so grant him peace and safety.” These words form the basis of the Islamic law, “Qisas”, which states that the ruler is accountable to his subjects (lines), whom he has ruled. For this reason, the ruler must end the prayer by saying, “O Allah, keep him [God] safe from evil and guide him to the path of righteousness, but not by force or by violence.”

In addition, Muslims should not feel guilty about singing their own song during tasbeeh, as Muslims are always encouraged to share and spread the message of the religion.
