You can always depend on the free shampoos, lotions, and other amenities provided by the hotel. If you want to bring your own, limit liquids, creams, and gels to no more than 100 grammes if you intend on putting them in your carry-on bag. Since the pressure in the air cabin shifts during a flight, it’s best to place all of your liquids and creams in a zip lock bag in case they spill. Plastic wrap and elastic may also be used to wrap the top.

Aside from the delicious aeroplane food, it’s vital to have something to eat to keep your energy up and hunger at bay. Passengers are usually only given small cups of water, juice, or soda for the duration of the flight, so bring an empty water bottle through the gates and fill it up at a fountain before boarding unless you want to keep asking the flight attendants for more refreshments. When the plane is taking off and landing, chewing gum will help relieve the pressure between your ears.

Place all of your device’s chargers inside a glasses case or a small plastic container to save room and help you organise your bag. This way, you won’t have cords all over the place. If you want to carry your electronics, place them in the middle of your suitcase to avoid injury. Additionally, if you place a “fragile” sticker on your suitcase, it will be placed at the top of the pile and will not be tossed around by baggage handlers.
