Best Tennis Overgrip

Sweating has a lot of benefits. It helps your body to cool down and releases toxins and harmful components from your body. But when it comes to sweaty hands while playing Best Tennis Overgrip it doesn’t seem to be a good thing.

If you are a tennis player and familiar with playing in hot and humid weather, you will know what my concern is. Sweaty hands may seem like a little problem, but it can be fatal for a tennis player. It affects the performance.

In this blog, I have come up with the tricks to deal with sweaty hands on the court to save you from losing any match.

How to Deal with Sweaty Hands in Tennis:

This may seem like disaster management, but it is true to some extent. I know that you already know this point, but choosing the wrong towel can ruin your game.

Stepping into the court without one or two towels can be a suicidal choice. If you want to keep your hands dry throughout the game, you will need to choose the right towel for you.

Some towels are made of synthetic microfiber that barely wipes the sweat off of your hand. So, it doesn’t matter how comfortable your towel is; you have to choose a towel according to its absorption power.

I would suggest you go for cotton towels. Keep the towel handy and wipe your hand whenever you feel like it. Also, you can use dry baby wipes, as they work excellent as a moisture absorber.

This is the thing I have learned from one of my competitors in the courts. Overgrips are the part that offers you the actual grip over the racket. So, choosing your overgrip wisely is way more important than you think.

There are essentially two types of overgrips, such as overgrips that offer you a stronghold over the racket and overgrips that can wipe off sweat from your hand.

If you have the tendency of sweating too much, or if you are playing in a humid climate, you should use an overgrip that can absorb sweat from your hand. Generally, the overgrips that are capable of wiping sweat from your hand are perforated so that the sweat gets evaporated quickly.

Make sure that your overgrip is made of breathable materials so that it can wipe off the sweat and keep your grip steady.

Never play with an old overgrip. It can negatively affect your sweat secretion and sometimes can enhance it. According to the severity of your hand’s sweating, you have to change the overgrip.

To be on the safe side, I would suggest you bring some spare of the best tennis overgrip for your game.

As the name suggests, grip-enhancers are used to get a more secure grip over the racket. These coverings on the overgrips give you stability and excellent grip.

If your hands sweat too much, you can use a moisture-absorbing grip enhancer for a dry playing experience. Don’t forget to change it after every set.

Keeping your hands clean is one way to talk about this problem. If you are finding a solution to your sweaty hand’s problem on the court, you can try this method.

First of all, clean your hands with lukewarm water and handwashing soap and then dry them off. Now, apply a hand sanitizer gel on your palms. It will remove dead cells and dirt from your skin, keeping your hand dry for a long time.

Every tennis player will agree with you on this matter. If your hands are too sweaty and this condition is affecting your performance on the court, you should carry a resin bag of your own.

Some players use liquid chalk to use on their hands. You can carry a box of talcum powder or boric sulfate to apply to your skin when your hands get too sweaty.

However, carrying these things in a professional game is not only distracting but also inconvenient. That’s why I am asking you to use resin bags.

Although, resin bags will ruin your overgrip in no time. So you should change your overgrip frequently to avoid poor performance on the court.

In earlier times, there were no things like that. Nowadays, antiperspirant sprays are not only widely available but also cheap. If your hands sweat too much during the games, you should buy one to make your hands dry.

Also, you can use deodorants that claim to be antiperspirant on your palms. Firstly, clean your hands properly and dry them off. Before entering the court, spray these on your palms to keep you sweat-free for some time.

However, not all antiperspirants are good. Some of them can cause a burning sensation on your hand. So, always try these sprays before bringing them to the court.

As a tennis player, you may know that each small gear or clothing item in the game carries out some special tasks. Wristbands may look cool, but those are used for different reasons on a court.

Wristbands are usually used to protect your arms from sudden injuries. But it is not the only cause. Wristbands resist the flow of sweat from your arms to your palms.

Most of the time, your hands get sweaty with the sweat running down your arms, and wristbands soak it effectively, leaving your hand dry.

If you sweat like Nadal, you should use wider wristbands so that they can soak up a lot of fluid to keep your palms dry.

We all know that sports companies spend millions to research the outfit for professional players. If you wear something heavy with a dark fabric, you will sweat too much.

Most of the good tennis outfits are lightweight and breathable. If you sweat too much, then you should wear lightweight clothes that will keep you dry and fresh.

Conclusion

I have written down all the things you can do to deal with sweaty hands on the tennis court. I hope these will help you keep your hand clean and dry. Be confident and play hard!
