Disney is holding a grand celebration to commemorate this extraordinary feat, ensuring that every fan has the opportunity (or two, or three!) to visit Orlando and partake in the festivities.

But hold on a second. As if navigating Walt Disney World in two, three, or four days wasn’t difficult enough, they’ve now added a massive anniversary party to the mix? Don’t worry, your mouse-ear-covered skull, we’ve got all the essential information so you can enjoy all the “best of” goodness that this Golden Celebration has to offer.

Festive Fare Feast

Well, food overcomes everything else. All we’re going to say is go to Friar’s Nook at Magic Kingdom when you’re there. The Toad Burger is a must-try, and take a photo for Instagram. After that, eat. It’s a brat burger with all the essentials, but with a twist. There are tastier burgers in the park, but you’ll have a hard time finding one that’s cuter. And, to be honest, this burger is so incredibly cute that we might have tried to take it home if we weren’t usually hungry.

EARidescent Awesomeness

Everything gleams, and it’s breathtaking. During our pre-search, we discovered that this aspect of the event was getting a lot of attention. We weren’t convinced, to be honest. We were sold when we arrived at Walt Disney World and saw the shimmer on our hotel key, park pamphlets, food, and characters. In this area, we refuse to pick a favorite. You may already be a glitter fan, but if you aren’t, lay your prejudice aside and let the shimmer steal your heart.

Beacons of Magic Marvel

Amazing attractions at Walt Disney World theme parks glitter and shine in a new way after dark, speaking of the aesthetic renovation. The large plus-up on Spaceship Earth, which represents opportunity and optimism, is our personal favorite. This is a “can’t miss” opportunity. We, along with our group of friends, were completely enthralled. Some of us may have even lied down to soak in the scenery. We, on the other hand, will refuse it.

 Edition Merch

The merchandise queues were by far the longest during our visit to Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration. The merchandise is more important to true Disney fans than the meals or the attractions. Because we’re all about the food, this worked out perfectly for us. But I’m getting ahead of myself. You’ve got to get your hands on this in-demand merchandise. What is the most coveted item? The simple 50th-anniversary ears that – you guessed it – glisten.

Photos and Snaps

The all-new Magic Shots are not to be missed. The “EARidescent Balloons Magic Shot,” in which you grasp a grip of 50th-anniversary balloons, is our favorite snap. Also, if you haven’t used Disney PhotoPass yet, you should do so right away, and your recollections will be grateful. There are several airlines available for Orlando, Florida. Sun Country Airlines En Espanol is one of them and is best known for its service while traveling. We’re being a little sneaky here. Even though this attraction is not directly related to the 50th anniversary, Disney launched it to coincide with the event. So, we will deviate from our rule and say that you must visit Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT’s World Showcase (where else but France). During this fast-paced, food-based journey, you’ll discover yourself shrinking. When they say, “you will feel all your senses active,” they mean it. As a result, prepare to grab a crêpe on your way out.

Savor Shimmering Sips

For the 50th anniversary celebration, Walt Disney World has a plethora of new beverages, but one, in particular, stood out. Should we say that it shimmered? If you’re thirsty after a day of fun and games, the EARidescent Sip-a-bration will be well worth your time. It’s a non-alcoholic lemonade and strawberry punch concoction, and it comes with a character surprise and is provided in a souvenir cup. There’s also a tiny bit of magic that we don’t want to reveal.

Sweet Treat

Almost every site you visit will have a particularly sweet entry or two to commemorate the occasion. We recommend concentrating on the treats that will appear as you walk through the parks. We visited all four parks, and the first-place winner in the dessert category was a giant ice cream sandwich found at Dino-Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom. With vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two house-made double chocolate chip cookies topped with crisp EARidescent sprinkles, you’ll be able to escape the Florida heat.

Extravaganzas

Harmonious is a new nighttime performance at EPCOT. Enchantment, a new fireworks and projection display at Magic Kingdom, is now open. But, because you’re a Disney fan, you’re not going to miss those incredible shows. But there’s another new attraction at Animal Kingdom: the cool kids (of all ages) are equally enthusiastic about Kite Tails. It’s sprinkled throughout the ground. And it’s submerged in the water. It’s a happy occasion. It’s a lot of fun. No one should miss it.

Fab 50” Character Statues

We enjoy a good scavenger hunt as guys who want to be on the run. Are you one of them? You’ve come to the right place. It’s a lot of fun to keep an eye out for the 50 golden characters that have been distributed throughout the parks in honor of this occasion. Chip and Dale were our favorite characters to find.
